Great drinks and links ! ( sausage sandwiches. And the Nancy's Ice Cream Sandwiches are not to be missed!Two chocolate chip cookies with a larg helping of vanilla ice cream - utterly delicious !!Great cocktails and decent beer selection and excellent , knowledgeable and friendly bartenders !

Reggie Veggie was Delicious and the Mac and cheese was fantastic. Ballyhoo was cozy and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I will definitely go back. Two thumbs up!

Wow... The homemade sausage was great. The staff was wonderful and made my drink with the up most care. Old time drinks made with time not being a factor to quality. Second time going and will go back again.

Soooo money! The lamb curry sausage, the jam drinks, my all time recommendation is gin and grapefruit jam. It’s a must and their Mac and Cheese is also so good. I would also recommend their mint julep during derby season.

My favorite "dive" bar in all of Buffalo. It's always so chill and fun here. Love the eclectic drink menu, jam sessions are always my go-to. The food menu is simple, but super good, always reliable / consistent, and it's perfect snacking food for sitting at the bar that will fill you up for sure. I'm not even a veg/an, but I always get their vegetarian sausage, it's just that good. Mac and cheese is super legit, too. Like, yes, amaze.

Missed coming here for good brew and sausage. Much <3 for the 'hoo. Get downtown and drop in for a local draft and good food.

A great place to stop in for a cocktail and a quick bite. I have been here about a dozen times and is very consistent. The sausages are great and the mac & cheese is the best in buffalo. The staff has always been nice and knowledgeable on their array of drinks.

Mac and Cheese. Choice preservatives for drinks with your favorite spirit. Both kitchen and bar work in tandem to make it an excellent place to stop for a bite. Also the music is always on point. Can't wait for springtime and patio season!

I was going to a concert in Buffalo it was across the bridge they had mixed drinks and some food it's pretty good

Low key some of the best food in the city, and I will fight you to the death arguing over it. Don’t sleep on the small menu - it has been carefully crafted and is always perfectly executed. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and- honestly- the first thing I crave is a Reggie Veggie w/ mac n cheese (which, by the way, is so good it should be immortalized at the Louvre). Most times I succumb to this craving by mid afternoon and I am never upset about it. Always a vivacious list of rotating taps, and their cocktails are something to behold. A (not so?) hidden gem of Buffalo.

Great drinks. Love the jam session where the bartender makes something for you based on a spirit and jam flavor you choose. And the short rib dog and Mac n cheese are insanely delicious. Love this spot

So happy to have found this small, hidden gem while in Buffalo. Drinks are beautifully prepared and reasonably priced. Interior is interesting. And bartenders are fast, friendly, and skilled.

I only recently discovered this place when a friend of mine started working here. So far I've enjoyed the experience each time ive visited. The staff is friendly and the drinks are expertly prepared.For food, they only have a very short menu. 5 sausage options, 4 sides and 1 dessert. So far I've tried 2 different sausages and 2 different sides. Ive been very impressed each time!

Great atmosphere, unique and delicious food. Great beer selection and some of the best mixed drinks.

A hidden gem. Outside smells funky however the cocktails were amazing. I recommend the jam session cocktail. The food is the only reason I give this place 4 stars. Sausage is the main course but presented in different manners. Come see for yourself.

Splendid cocktails and best mac and cheese in NY

Ballyhoo is one of the best spots in town! Amazing food, amazing drinks, and amazing atmosphere. The food and the jelly mix drinks. Wow!!!

There was a pretty sizable classic cocktail menu and some very unique drinks made with jam. I ordered the Mexican Firing Squad even though the idea of tequila and chocolate bitters sounded strange at first. It ended up being amazing, as the chocolate flavor was very subtle. I didn't get any food, but I did notice that the mac & cheese looked amazing.

Great staff, best Mac n cheese in city. We love coming here on weekends with our dog sitting out side enjoying the weather while we have it in Buffalo. Ballyhoo has a full bar with delicious menu of links with sides. Really recommend this laid back place.

Great local bar! Wonderful bartenders and food. My friends and I enjoyed different types of sausage; ranging from pork to lamb to chorizo, chili, mac and cheese, and an array of drinks.

My husband and I went here for lunch. The beer selection is good, and the sausages are outstanding! The lamb one was amazing. Highly recommend!

Ballyhoo is a great place. Their bar is excellent, with a great beer list, and knowledgeable bartenders who can mix up a perfect cocktail. They also have very good food that is served late, with house made sausages and daily sides.

This is probably one of my favorite bars in the world. Their menu is so tasty! And their drinks are really well made. The cocktails menu is very creative. If you like tropical drinks, please try their Singapore sling (best one ever). I 100% go there every time I visit Buffalo :)

Short menu but excellent food!! The mac n cheese is spicy and yummy!!! I took my two teenage boys & parents to a sabres game last night & stopped for dinner before the game. Everyone loved their sausage & adults loved the craft beer!!!! I would recommend everyone try Ballyhoo!! I know I will be back!!!

One of my favorite cocktail bars. Their menu is made to original specs which means you are going to get egg whites and lemon juice in your whiskey sour. The food menu rotates but the mac and cheese is fantastic. Pretty fantastic liquor selection and the bartenders are great at recommendations if you are interested in trying something new. There is no air conditioning, but the patio gets a great breeze.

We visited during COVID. One employee policed the COVID rules to an almost off putting level. Went to the bar to hand over the order. The lamb sausage was dry and I'd say burned. I bought a side of pickles (which are tasty) and used it to moisten the bites. Husband had the beef and said it was good. We also ordered the chorizo bacon sausage and it was fantastic. We brought it and the pickles home. Mac n cheese, to us, was meh. No real flavor to stand out. Probably would have been better with Texas Pete or similar sauce. We were NOT going to get up and ask fir anything (because of the mask police) and no one checked in you so it was an ok experience.

Creative cocktails and DELICIOUS sausages. I don't even usually like sausage but this stuff is bangin'! The mac and cheese is also excellent!

The location is pretty decent and the back deck/patio is the place to be. If you get any food get a lot of pickles and their Mac & Cheese. It's simple, not too filling; and you really can't go wrong.

While visiting from out of town, a bartender recommended we come here for a late night drink or food. We actually did both! Had a night cap on Friday and came back Saturday to eat because everything looked so good. The drinks are fun - a selection of classic to quirky cocktails! The food was also very tasty and came out fast. I would probably be a regular here if i lived nearby. Veggie options, too!

One of my favorite spots in Buffalo. Awesome food and drinks. The Old Maid cocktail is one of my favorites. The links are excellent but don’t forget about the mac n cheese! It’s SO good. Great summer patio and nice inside, too.
